Collei

Collei

4★DendroBowOff-field Damage

TL;DR

Collei throws a ring that puts Dendro on everything it touches, twice, since it comes back to her. Her Burst leaves a doll bouncing around an area for 6 seconds doing the same. Skill, Burst, swap off and let both of them apply Dendro without her.

Rotation

  1. Skill (E) through the enemies. The ring hits on the way out.
  2. Burst (Q) to drop the doll on top of them.
  3. Swap to your damage dealer.
  4. The ring hits again on its way back to her, wherever she happens to be.

Abilities

Skill (E) 12 second cooldown. Throws a ring that deals Dendro damage to whatever it passes through, then flies back after a moment and deals it again. It carries on doing this after she swaps out.
Burst (Q) 60 Energy, back in 15 seconds. An area Dendro explosion, then a zone the doll bounces around inside for 6 seconds hitting things with Dendro. A teammate setting off a Dendro reaction inside it adds a second, up to 3.

What actually matters

The two or three real decisions. Everything else is noise.

  • Two Dendro hits per Skill. Out and back. That's the whole reason to cast it before swapping rather than after.
  • Her passive pays off a teammate's reaction. If anyone sets off a Dendro reaction before the ring gets home, it lands with a small Dendro aura attached for 3 seconds. C2 gives it to her unconditionally.
  • Energy Recharge for a 60 cost Burst. Around 160% is comfortable. C1 hands her 20% of it for free while she's off the field.

Gear

A build that works. KeqingMains lists every other option.

Weapon Energy Recharge, Elemental Mastery after that. Sacrificial Bow is a standard banner 4-star that carries the first and sometimes refunds her Skill, which is two more Dendro hits.
Artifacts 4-piece Deepwood Memories. Casting either button cuts enemy Dendro resistance by 30% for the whole team, which is worth more than anything her own damage could do.
Main stats Elemental Mastery sands, Dendro damage goblet, Elemental Mastery circlet, with Energy Recharge in the substats.

Works well with

ElectroHydro

Electro for Quicken and Hyperbloom. Hydro for Bloom. She's the Dendro half, so the other half is where the damage comes from.

Don't bother

  • Aimed shots. Her bow is transport for the ring.
  • Waiting for the ring to come back before you swap. It finds her.
  • Crit stats. Reactions do not crit.
  • Spending on-field time with her at all past the two buttons.
